Chapter 11:
Tim and Mandy froze in their tracks. They glanced hopelessly as the colorful van drove away into the horizon.
They were both stiff with fear. What would happen to Gwen? Tim came to his senses first. He said quietly,
“Mandy, we better go tell the police.” His voice shook, and he could barely make his thoughts into words. Mandy understood. They both took each other’s hand and ran to the pay phone. Tim took out a glistening quarter and put it in the slot. Then he dialed ‘911’. A woman’s voice greeted him.
“What is your emergency?” she asked slowly. Tim wondered how she could be so calm when his best friend was getting who knows what done to her.
“Gwen Macy, my friend, has been kidnapped.”
“What is the identification of the vehicle?”
“Uh….” Mandy grabbed the phone. Her eyes were big and round, slowly filling to the brim with tears. She blinked them back.
“It was a rainbow van. It had a man with an afro dancing under a disco ball. It had words…” She struggled to remember the weird print. It had said… Sheeba Dance co.! She repeated what she remembered to the lady.
“We live in Fresno , California
Tim and Mandy stood there, desperately hoping that the police would find Gwen.
They were so wrong…
I think you write great stories. I don't have the courage to write stories like this. I can't wait to see what happens to Gwen!

You just get better and better. I am on the edge of my seat, waiting to make sure Gwen will be saved! OR NOT?

Well, you can always write, just make sure you have low readers that day so you won't feel akward. :)
