                                    Chapter 8:

Emma thought hard. She wished to be a stick. She was transformed immediately. She saw footprints on the floor. " I'd better follow those tracks ", she thought. She shuffled along, trying not to make a peep. The tracks led to a strange room, where there were portraits ether torn to shreds, or blank. " What an odd place ", she thought. All of a sudden, she heard sobbing noises coming from behind a desk. She dashed behind, and there was the giant! " This is Dr. Ruin ", the voices said. " Don't fall for it Emma, it's a trap! " they yelled.
