Terminator II: Judgment Day, directed by Woody Allen.
Sarah (played by Linda Hamilton): Dr. Peterman, you’re my psychiatrist. You have to let me out of this mental hospital! I'm not crazy!
Dr. Peterman (played by Woody, of course): Look, ordinarily, I would. I'm not such a bad person, I don't want to see you locked up, though I’ll tell you, those pull-ups you can do with your own bed, whew, that’s pretty impressive. Don't think I haven't thought about that a few times, let me tell you. You ought to charge admission to see that. I mean, you're the kind of woman, you don't just bring home the bacon, you could lift the whole livestock pen, what are you kidding me?
Sarah: I have to see my son. Terminator machines are going to rise up and destroy the world! John is the key to saving the future!
Dr. Peterman: Hey, don't talk to me about the future. Fifteen years in therapy, and all I know about the future is that some day, I'll be in it, and I still need to cram for it. Anyway ... hey, what do you think you're doing?
Sarah: (drags Dr. Peterman to his feet, holds a hypodermic needle to his throat) If you won't let me out, I'll hold you hostage while I break out!
Guard: Don't do it, Sarah! There's no way out!
Dr. Peterman: Be careful! I'm a bleeder! Boy, talk about your aggressive women!
John, Sarah’s son: Mom! Mom! We broke into the hospital to save you!
Terminator: Come with me if you want to live.
(Sarah drops Peterman, runs off with John and Terminator)
Dr. Peterman: (sprawled on the floor) Wait! How could you love him, he's just an android! I can offer you so much more, like a pulse! (Speaks to the camera) Isn't that always the way. You know, I thought we were really developing something there, I felt a real spiritual connection. What went wrong? Sure, she was threatening to stab me with a syringe filled with ammonia, but, I mean, please. I'm from Brooklyn. To us, that's just another way to say hello! But then, you know, the inevitable happens. One flex of a cybernetically-enhanced deltoid and it's sayonara. I mean, how can I possibly compete with that?
(The rest of the movie goes on as usual, if you like that sort of rough behavior. At the end, Sarah and Dr. Peterman meet by chance at Cafe Espanol in the Village, and move in together.)
