I'm surprised that there isn't a whole lot of "angry" feminist criticism and theory about this photo since it encapsulates EVERYTHING that is supposedly wrong with--and a tip of the hat here to academe--"obligatory heteronormative behavior." (ie, men are pigs and women would all be better off at an Indigo Girls concert...)
I don't make these things up, I just call 'em as I read 'em in all the "correct" journals!
But anger aside, a pretty funny homage to a classic bit of Americana.
Yep. Them hairy legged feminists certainly object to things like that photo. And if they don't object, it doesn't make any difference. You can just say they DO object. Twit.
