Make sure you comment at least once on how I can kill a blog post by mentioning Paul Verhoven or, when it comes down to it, merely by posting at all.
Then you can tell your "real" blog friends from the poseurs by the degree of feigned horror with which they greet your proclamation ("oh no, he brings a mordant note of post-modern distanciation to the proceedings" vs "and exactly HOW MANY YEARS have you put up with his dribblings?")!

And if all else fails, have a nice convention!

Yikes! Anyway, photos of pooches, even with stuff on them, always get a thumbs up from me!

THE ORIGINAL BEANCOUNTER is going to have fun. The Bunny and I are going to PLAY- even with colds. We miss you!

BTW, how do you think I would look in that dog outfit?

It's 11:15 or so. Six of us are in Grace's living room, lounging on couches and chairs. Two are gossiping about A-list woman bloggers we know or read. The rest of us are listening in while we type away on our laptops. e from eezblog is sitting beside me, reading Woolfcamp entries on Twitter. Deb is ... (craning my neck to see) reading Friendfeed, I think. There are two little non-blogging dogs who spent the evening establishing alpha status, and have now established an uneasy truce because they're tired.
