Radiohead set a challenge to remix the song "Nude" from their latest album. And this video student did just that for his final project in school, turning dot-matrix printers, cassette tape recorders and old computer parts into his instruments.
Based on the lyric (and alternate title) "Big Ideas: Don't get any" I grouped together a collection of old redundant hardware, and placed them in a situation where they're trying their best to do something that they're not exactly designed to do, and not quite getting there.

I am more than merely reminded of any number of John Cage "compositions" for multiple truntables/ radios/metronomes and likely for the very good reason that pop culture is rarely as derivative as when it thinks it's being "cutting-edge."
Now why doesn't Radiohead do an entire CD of cover songs by bands such as Starcastle, The Captain and Tenille and (mirabile dictu) The 1910 Fruitgum Company? Everyone out there who salivates at the thought of the Kid A's in the Hall (de)constructing "Yummy Yummy Yummy (I've Got Love In My Tummy)" raise your Zunes or Blackberries NOW!
