Ms. Rowling may have completed the Harry Potter series (though I think she's going to torture us the rest of her life with prequels and the like), but the fans continue to live the HP glory days through media of their own choosing.
To wit: Harry Potter jewelry! Here's a horcrux necklace - clever, but I could never wear it outside a convention. I could get behind these Hallows earrings, though. And there seem to be an inordinate number of crafters who want to wear Luna Lovegood's radish earrings. Isn't it odd what strikes our fancy.
I can't help escape the feeling that a horcrux is standard wear for theologically-inclined members of the demimonde (not to be confused with either the demitasse or the Demi Moore).

Yes. If it were possible to look 1,000 years into the future (and heck, with JKR, it just might be), you'd see fact turn into legend, and eventually will evolve a whole religion based upon the finding and destroying of the horcruxes, with Harry Potter as the savior and Dumbledore in the John the Baptist role. The legend will say Harry himself gave Ron Weasley the keys to starting a new church. Hermione will be the holy intermediary. Disciples will include all the kids from the DA.

Umm, not quite what I really meant; but as this is a family site I think we'll just focus on the countdown to HP 6: will director David yates (whom I thought did a stylish job with his radically truncated "PHoenix")make us CRY when Dumbledore dies, or will we just sit there thinking "gee, was Michael Gambon laughing during this shot?"
And will we get to see the Kreacher/Dobby pimpslap fest??

Guess I'd better look up the word "demimonde", huh?
