Most days, knowing I am heading down the freeway to work, I wonder what traffic will be like during the commute rush. Today, though, I am not going to work - I am heading down Highway 99 to help my mother today. Instead of wondering about one commute, I wonder about all the commutes centered around all the cities I will be passing. Will I be delayed by a traffic jam? Why can't there be a lane just for people passing through town but not taking any exits? A stranger lane. A lane for people who have no desire to jostle for pole position with the other local commuters within a 10-mile radius of their city. Well, I don't know. It seemed like a good idea when I started this post ... Let's talk about flying cars some more ...
Ever since the first Star Wars movie I have wanted a hover craft. But the potential for taking out homes and schools from manually controlled flying cars really scares me!
