The interview wasn't horrendous. I think the bottom line is, if they want someone with a lot of field experience, they'd better keep looking. But if they're interested in someone who has a good knowledge base to build on, I have a chance. Their interview questions focused on both aspects, so I couldn't get a bead on their true motives. So I guess I'll have to wait and see.
Later: Good news, blogfolk - second interview on Monday.
Yeah!! I'll think good thoughts.
The spouser got his new position this week.. no moving, but new office, new furniture and new responsibilities. Officially the change happens on 4/1. Unofficially, he starts working on a project next week.
This is shaping up as a good year for most folks.. I'll hope your name is added to list.

Oooh! Good for you! (For my current job, I had FOUR interviews! A bit of overkill, me thinks).

Go, go, go, Beancounter! I'm stepping out into the market myself. Maybe it'll be a good year for both of us. (Ptui, ptui, ptui--that's Jewish for knocking wood.)
