I took the day off to work on the policy report that I didn't start on Sunday. It's quiet in the house. The dogs are napping. I'm sitting at my desk now. And we gotcher coffee mug. We gotcher side desk covered in relevant newspaper articles, all printed out and provocatively highlighted. We gotcher flash drive parked in the USB port. We gotcher outline and notes, scribbled yesterday at lunch.
But what's going on here? Am I working? No, I am not. What I am doing is, I am reading all your posts. You're too good to stay away from!
At this rate, I'm going to have to go find the laptop, wrench out the wifi card, and set up in a room far away from an internet cable. It's called cold turkey. Not pretty, but tough measures are called for.
Blogfolk, please stop writing interesting things the rest of this week, so I can get some work done, okay? Next week, you may go back to your scintillating selves. Thank you.
I am having a hard time with this paper too. It took me until Sunday to get my thoughts semi-organized. But everytime I think I am done with my perspectives, I get a new idea.

I can only write when it's (literally) the last minute and my back is against the wall and three hundred people are bothering me. So if I can do it, it should be a Marie Antoinette Moment for you!

Yeah, I'm not a very good telecommuter when there's internet access. In fact, at times, internet access affects the "Integrity" part of our company's core values while I'm AT work. Would you consider this an addiction issue? Uhm, don't answer. Denial is a GOOD thing. Heh.
