Pluto is a planet. I don't care what the current AC (Astronomically Correct) jargon is. It orbits the sun, it's bigger than a breadbox, it has its own moon: it's a freakin planet. Astronomers should be better employed trying to figure out why neutrino production from the sun doesn't match theoretical models or just exactly WHY Venus cannot play host to Zsa Zsa Gabor. Important issues.
Jupiter is a planet too. All this "failed brown dwarf" crap is annoying. By that line of reasoning, Earth is a "failed Jovian body" and our own beloved Moon is a "underachieving planet."
Which makes me a failed Blue Whale. Whine.
