amazing. that extra use of water could send their water bill through the roof! truly amazing.

Our neighbor's cat, Sophie who departed this mortal coil at the age of 20 several years ago, also had a toilet talent. She couldn't flush it, but she could, and did, pee into it. This family hired a housecleaner who came once, did a great job, but declined to come back. Why? She confided to a mutual friend of the neighbors that the house was haunted -- she could hear the sound of someone going to the bathroom upstairs when there was no one else around. It was Sophie, the indoor-plumbing-loving cat.
