BB used the nit comb on my tender scalp this morning, after my own 8-hour shower cap 'n' napalm lice treatment.
BB: [in his best movie trailer voice] It was Lice Heaven ... until that fateful day ... The Day Of The Rake. Saints and sinners alike ... all must stand up on Judgment Day before the holy wrath of the Rake.
The few he found today were dead, of course. And their sheer numbers were lower than yesterday. The battle continues.
OMG, Pam. I'm so sorry. I'm now utterly petrified of sending the boy to camp later this summer.

Wende, any good camp will already be aggressive when it comes to lice prevention. Take all the basic precautions. He'll be fine. And if it still happens, he can get a buzz cut!

I don't know who would be more traumatized... me or the boy. Heh.
I had a dream last night that he got lice and we all shaved our heads in solidarity. I guess that actually qualifies as a nightmare.
I know the odds are against being infected...I think I'll send him to the swim camp session--all that chlorine should help and at least I know he will bathe during the week.
