My daughter made another fort. This one takes up every square inch of floor space in her bedroom, using four chairs and a bedsheet over the top. Plus the requisite blankets and pillows for the bottom. It's a casbah! We finally, after years of making forts (or decades, if you count my own fort-making years), figured out how to keep the sheet on the chair with the clothespins. I would take a picture and post it in triumph, but we're probably the last ones on Earth to get a clue.
To reach the bed, you have to start at the door, crawl through the tiny access, through the fort, and then squeeze up onto the bed from the other side. Needless to say, this is prohibitive for all grown-ups.
Gah! We do need pictures!
On the plus side, once you get brave enough to crawl in, you can see the computer screen. Bunny and I watched a DVD from inside. BB brought us popcorn and drinks, passing them in at an awkward angle. All we could see were his knees. So far, summer vacation is pretty cool.
Ooooh, sounds like the perfect vacation to me.

Must have photos!!
Wouldn't it be easier to just hang sheets from the ceiling and turn the whole room into a tent?

easier, but then not a fort. this fort sounds most fortresslike.
