I absolutely love that you did that!!!

I bet the Prof's face was classic.


We were allowed to turn everything in online, but I still always got back a printed copy with notes in red ink. I think they missed the point of a paperless classroom.


Well, since the office is never open even when it should be, I'd say you're perfectly justified there.


I wonder if the "cost prohibitive" comment was because he doesn't have a printer at home or access to one at the school. Otherwise I call bullshit. I can, however, understand wanting to print them out--it's easier for me to read critically and edit on paper than on screen--something about the tactile nature of it and the feeling of seeing everything on the page at once.
