The plotline of X-Men 3 looks exactly like the one in the first and second X-Men movies - "Waah, waah, humans hate us mutants - should we fight 'em, or should we wallow in angst?"
(Which, to be fair, was also the main plotline of the comic for many years, in between the X-Men kicking the butts of evil mutants and interdimensional space aliens. Even so. It gets old in movie form.)
But here's the reason I'll probably break down and see the third installment in the theatre: Kelsey Grammar as my favorite mutant, Beast. Very cool!
Later: Well, this settles it: The Innocent Bystander thought X-Men 3 was better than the first two.
Kelsey Grammar? Kelsey Grammar? I shall have to have a sit down and think about this. I still grin when I see his credit as executive producer of Medium and apparently he makes a guest appearance as a baddie later in the season. Can't wait.

I don't know if I'd go as far as to say that it was better than the first two, but Kelsey Grammar was awesome.

Does this beast sing "Tossed Salad and Scrambled Eggs"?

I can't believe there are people who thought the third one was better than the first two. You haven't seen it so I won't say much (I did a long post on my blog hidden in the "read the rest of the post" section if you're interested, but it has spoilers), but the movie was badly paced, the dialogue was forced, and the lazy stereotypical way they wrote the women characters (See: Padme in Star Wars Episode III) was really annoying.

Oh, but Kelsey Grammar was pretty sweet :)
