Wow - you have to check out the Dover website. The collection of free e-cards is diverse and beautiful - and not a single cutesy kittycat anywhere.

Went looking for a service like this a while ago. Made the mistake of using the word "adult" in the search engine query, and, well, let's just say, if I'd sent those kind of greetings, it would have revolutionized many a relationship.
