I prefer my canteloupe with a scoop of raspberry sorbet in the middle where the seeds have been scooped out. French fries are another good salt vehicle, but they also convey another important nutrient: grease!
I LOOOOVEEEE canteloupe with salt. In fact, in the last two weeks I've eaten about six huge canteloupe. It's one of my favorite fruits. Fruit is actually one of my favorite foods. So this makes canteloupe a must.
Although I will say that under-rippened or over-rippened canteloupe isn't good at all. You have to get it ripe. It's like nectar. Awesome.
I can't eat canteloupe, it reminds me of being forced to take out the garbage as a kid. Of course the cheap bag would break and I had to pick up the rinds mixed with coffee grinds, egg shells, yuck. The smell of canteloupe makes me gag. Honey dew on the other hand is an entirely different matter.
OK, well, for the most part, these are healthy in every other way. (And we DO require salt!)
