Hope your people treat you right today. I miss you, little brother, and wish I could be there to help blow out the candles. (Ha!) Thanks for the good advice recently, too. Love you!

Dear Dan,
Is your good advice free? Or, like all things, do we get what we pay for?
And if your advice works, do I have to love you?
If this sounds like harrassment, please blame Pam. She's the link.
Keith,
Naw that didn't sound like harrassment to me, though I am of thicker skin then some. What advice do you need? I tend to go along with the classic advice from "Valley Girl": Take it back and get the more expensive one.
If you're talking about electronics, I am in complete agreement. The "Valley Girl" approach, however, backfires horribly when applied to tried but failed relationships. Ouch. Maybe you hit on a bit of truth with your reply and didn't even know it. Maybe the key to happiness is finding a girl with thick skin.

Girls with thick skin are more expensive? That explains a lot about my life.
