Oh yeah! Lemony Snicket's "A Series of Unfortunate Events" is a movie! FX-wise, it appears to have everything going for it. But it does seem to be weighted down by an excessive amount of Jim Carrey.

I thought I was the only one who's not particularly fond of Jim Carey.
It's certain that I'll be forced to attend the Garfield movie, but I suspect it's one of those movies in which we see every possible good spot in the previews, and the rest is crap.

LOL that's what I'm afraid of, too. And I don't mind Jim Carrey, but I hate Jim Carrey "vehicle movies", which it looks like this one will be. He plays all the adult characters!
