A partial list of the things our dog Daisy has damaged or destroyed:
One dog collar
Part of another
My sweater
Countless pairs of underwear
Socks
3 pairs of shoes - two chewed; one destroyed (Boy, was Bunny MAD.)
Many shoelaces
The buttons off a shirt
2 lamp cords
1 telephone cord - I assume she learned better by the third cord.
Leg of the rocking chair
Corner of the TV cabinet
Kitchen rug - had to take it up before the plunder was complete.
Hmm. Thought this list was longer. I guess it just seems longer when living it!
We have an elderly dog who apparently feels that the fiber content in underwear (anyone's) is exactly what his diet needs, and we frequently find him foraging in the laundry hamper. This is the same dog whose favorite treats are the crunchy tootsie rolls from the cat's litter box.

Ugh. I don't even want to discuss what Daisy finds to eat. Except to say, escargot seems to be a real delicacy to dogs. I can just imagine if we owned a cat ... "tootsie rolls" indeed!
