I've noticed this seems to progress over time. Having unconstrained internet access at work doesn't help either. Now my social life revolves around this rather than the people sitting in cubicles around me. Worse than that - I'm so used to the idea now that it hardly concerns me at all... :)


My friends here (I mean my real-time friends) laughed when I told them about yesterday. They found it funniest that my boss wasn't even here. Of course, no brownie-points earned if your boss didn't even see your "dedication". But you're right - it wasn't a sense of dedication, it was the lure of the Internet.
