Since I have the whole week off from school, I can finally write some more.
On Thursday I was walking fast in the after school program called S.T.A.R.S. since we're not allowed to run, and I found out why. I did my specialty of awkward slips that end painfully (as they usually affect my feet), landing on top of my foot and giving me a sprained ankle. So Friday, as you could probably guess, we wrapped up my left foot and I had to use my old crutches from third grade (from that time when I fractured my right one), but luckily they adjust, otherwise I would have to be going around looking awkward with tiny crutches and that might've caused more of my famous awkward falls. And you can maybe also guess the publicity. People would come from classrooms around just to make me to relive the tales. The littler kids, the average fifth graders (like me), and The Populars. What I don't get about The Populars is that you're invisible one day, and the next you're their best friends. I should've just worn a button saying 'I sprained my foot'. They really should invent them.
Luckily, while N and S went off leaving me feeling horrible while they purposefully made me jealous by flipping, going on the monkey bars, and playing Cat-Dog (all my favorite thing to do), my friend Olive (That's what I'm calling him on this blog) played with me. People think that I like him because we always hang out and he's a boy, but in reality that's not true. It gets annoying when people ask me if I like him. They even ask if I'm going out with him! (Dude, being in fifth grade do you think I go on dates?) People are so annoying sometimes! (But Olive told me he likes me.) (Awkward moments happen constantly.) I wish I was home schooled like Geiodo. I really hate all of this drama. Why can't my friends be loyal, and why can't people believe girls can be JUST FRIENDS with boys?
S is going to her home country, Pakistan, so N is going to rely on me to play with her. But they've been so horrible to me lately, I'm rethinking that. But really, I'm going to give in to her because I'm a good friend like I always do.
