Digital EQ, the Elfquest Online project, is posting all the old Elfquest comics, one at a time. Issues 1 - 5 of the graphic novel are up now, with more promised. Including the subsequent series, which I never read. Wendy and Richard Pini produced this series back in 1978, before graphic novels really took off. Highly recommended.

As King of Irrelevant Commentary, I feel obligated to use this blog space about Elfquest to pay tribute to the memory of Arthur C Clarke, whose recent death must be considered a sad loss for scientists and science-fiction fans alike. If you want to fgure out why I turned out the way I did, read "The Nine Billion Names of God" or "The Star" (certainly one of the most moving pieces of semi-religious speculation ever penned by a hard-core unbeliever) and then call me back. Everyone go home and watch 2001...
